Episode 77 with Maria & Ashley of Gray Gardens Design
with Dionne Woods
Up next on Paint Talks podcast are the creators behind Gray Gardens Design, Maria and Ashley. They are a mother/daughter team of internationally collected artists that are passionate about upcycling the unwanted and creating beautiful art. The New York City transplants currently reside in Stuart Florida, are heavily influenced by Street Art, Graffiti Art, and the Pop Art movement. There is a clear theme of strong women that features heavily in their work along with the use of vibrant colors.
Maria & Ashley will be teaching a masterclass at the Daydream Apothecary Stockist Retreat in June. They have a few exciting collaborations coming this year including a line of decoupage papers coming out with Bubblegum Yum in early summer. There’s also a secret surprise coming at the end of the Summer this year.
Their superpower is the symbiotic relationship that allows them to paint an image simultaneously and have that image appear to be created by one person. Enjoy this fun interview!
