Episode 83 with Sarah Mason Walden of Peacoquette
with Dionne Woods
Sarah Mason Walden is a Nashville native with a deep love of history and world culture. Sarah’s background as a professional in entertainment was transmuted into a design career more than a decade ago and her work has been seen in galleries, museums, international stages, magazine covers, and the big and small screen. Her goal is to time travel with elegant whimsy and to take us all on her adventures.
Her restoration work will be seen in the award-nominated Joseph Urban exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum opening this summer. A luxe line of textiles is coming soon called Peacoquette d’Argent.
A fun fact about Sarah: she was on the radio the day she was born. Her father was a radio DJ and did a live-remote from the hospital. He was the morning drive DJ here in Nashville and the whole pregnancy was documented – there was even a name-the-baby contest!
