This is what half water / half paint looks like! Brush on, wipe off…brush on, wipe off! I needed a pretty weathered piece to achieve this look. I was planning to stain this piece in navy but decided on a different direction after I began to clean it up. As most of my projects do, the dresser looks different than I planned but love the outcome.
This dresser has served a full life already, but looks to stand another 60 years. It’s solid and very heavy. I used a wax to protect the surface and the finish.
I replaced the old ugly hardware with these simple classic cup pulls in the bronze finish.
I’m positive my love affair for this color will never end…I mean, really? How can you not dram of the ocean every time you see this color?
