Who is the Story Studio for?
The Story Studio is for anyone who feels creatively drawn to make, explore, share, or reconnect with their creativity. Whether you are a professional artist, hobby creator, creative business owner, or someone rediscovering creativity after years away, you are welcome here.
How is this different from Creative Connection?
Creative Connection, which began over eight years ago, is a community-centered experience focused on weekly engagement, prompts, and connection. It has primarily lived within a social-media-based environment.
The Turquoise Iris Story Studio Experience is entirely different.
It is an education-first platform, created specifically for structured learning, creative development, and long-term growth.
While the Story Studio includes a community feature, the foundation is teaching and guided learning — not social interaction.
This is not a repeat of Creative Connection.
It is the next evolution of my work.
Do I need to consider myself an artist to join?
Not at all. Many members are exploring creativity for the first time or returning to it after a long season away. The Story Studio is designed to be encouraging, approachable, and welcoming.
What kinds of creatives are part of the community?

The Core membership is designed for connection, creative prompts, discussions, and participation in the Story Studio space.

Can I upgrade my membership later?
Yes. You can upgrade your membership at any time if you decide you’d like access to additional workshops, trainings, or resources.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Memberships can be canceled at any time. If you cancel, your access will remain active through the end of your billing period.

Do I have to participate actively?
No. Some members enjoy posting and engaging regularly, while others prefer to quietly explore content and participate at their own pace. Both are welcome.
What if I feel nervous sharing my work?

Are the challenges required?
No. Challenges are completely optional and meant to inspire creativity, reflection, and gentle accountability. Participate in the ones that resonate with you.
Is this a teaching membership or a community membership?
It’s both. The Story Studio combines creative community, encouragement, inspiration, workshops, and artistic growth opportunities in one space.
Will there be live events?
Yes. Depending on the season and membership level, there may be live workshops, conversations, creative gatherings, office hours, or special events with Dionne and guest creatives.

After joining, you’ll receive login information by email. You’ll be able to access the Story Studio through your member dashboard.
Can I access the Story Studio on my phone?
Yes. The Story Studio can be accessed on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices through the member platform.
Will I have access to past content?
This depends on your membership level and the type of content. Some workshops and resources may remain available in the replay library for active members.
