Turquoise Heavily Distressed Antique Dresser

Apr 16, 2013 | 20 comments

I certainly understand that this look is not for all, but when I saw this piece, I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. This antique chest is at least 100 years old and solid wood. My inspiration was to duplicate a piece of stone…real turquoise, not man-made. Turquoise is my personal favorite and it’s perfectly flawed…like most of us. I hope you love my interpretation.

The glass knobs were a contribution from my mom…she’s good, right?
I am loving all the texture going on in the shot!

This jewel is for sale here on my Etsy shop,

Here is the before shot…the one on the right.
